OOOH BABY!

Lewis and I had been married about a year (eleven months to be exact). Summer was drawing to a close and lewis had gone to hike Havasupai with his family... I had to work so I wasn't able to go. While they were gone I sorta just felt off, like something was different. He had a couple days back and then was headed on a scout camp. I asked him while he was home what he thought about having a baby... Not an odd question at our house, I'd been asking that question probably four times a month the past year. He responded with his usual ya that'd be great, When we both feel good about it.

Well we better start feeling real good about it... I took this while Lewi was on his camp out and couldn't help my shout for joy!!! We're Pregnant! YAY!!! When Lewis got home, right when I first saw him I blurted it out... WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!! Immediately his face lit up, he is SO excited!! He will be the best daddy.

Baby Wilde's first ultrasound. Moving and waving his arms around like he was trying to say hi:)
We have ourselves a little man!!!
Fourteen weeks/twenty three weeks/thirty four weeks
Pregnancy has been a crazy wonderful journey, i'll admit, I haven't been the best sport about it most the time... I complain a lot (my poor husband). However it's a complete miracle. I have this sweet little life growing inside of me. I love how close I feel to my Wilde boy, each kick and movement is a miracle. I'm so grateful for this experience, and for all those that have been there for me. Giving advice, or telling their own stories (I'm sorta obsessed with pregnancy/labor stories). I can't wait to meet our little man:)

MY FAIRYTALE WEDDING

August 2nd 2013 Lewis and I were sealed for time and all eternity! He picked me up that morning in his truck and we drove together to the St. George temple. I had my best friend at my side and both our families surrounding us, it couldn't have been more perfect!

I'm going to throw in some bridals as well cause why not?!

I had some great helpers that day! Couldn't have done it without them!

SURPRISE PROPOSAL

Lewis and I decided to get married but we hadn't made it official yet. I had picked out my wedding ring but it wasn't going to be ready for another two weeks. So when Lewis asked me if I wanted to go fishing up in Enterprise I had no reason to suspect he'd be proposing. Saturday came and I waited what seemed like forever for Lewis to come pick me up (he took forever). When he finally arrived his truck was piled high with things like an ice cream maker, a couple of ice chests, a TV, and a few other odd things (I thought) to take on a fishing trip. On our drive to Enterprise he was all fidgety and sorta awkward (what is wrong with this guy). But I just figured he'd had a long day, and we were going fishing YAY!!!! Fishing will  make him feel better!

We got there and Lewis was so particular about where on the lake we were going to fish... Does it matter? I seriously thought someone had put something in his oatmeal that morning. We finally found the perfect spot and got all set up. He gave me a fishing pole and we started fishing. He was catching fish left and right, I think I caught two (one in a half)? Mine were all minnies, of course! After a little while Lewis told me he wanted to try a different hook on my fishing pole, I was cool with that. He gave it back to me and we kept fishing, for what seemed like hours... and I caught nothing!!! Finally I told Lewis that this was super fun and all but I'd had enough fishing for one day. Trying not to smile he asked "Ally are you sure you haven't caught anything?" I think I could tell if I caught something, but he insisted looking right at my hook. I was so confused... Was he losing it? All I could see was a circular looking hook.. Wait a circle hook? How odd? No wonder I hadn't been catching anything. I turned the pole around to examine the hook more closely. Lewis was standing next to me now as I a looked at the odd hook. It kinda looked like a ring... A huge hideous ring, and then it started to dawn on me... Crap this isn't the ring I picked out. I looked over at Lewis who was kneeling on one knee holding a black satin box. I couldn't stop the smile taking over my face as he opened the box and nestled inside was my ring. I couldn't wipe the goofy grin off my face. Of course I said YES!!!! He slipped that ring on my finger and wrapped me in his strong arms, a place I never want to leave.

After fishing I couldn't stop staring at my hand and the wonderful man who was now my fiance eeek!! It was all SO exciting! We ate hot dogs, made ice cream, and cuddled in the bed of his truck. We couldn't stop smiling at each other, it was the perfect night.
